Labour Day BBQ Volunteer

Labour Day is about recognizing the contributions of workers and unions to the well-being of our communities and country. The Labour Council organizes the BBQ to celebrate community spirit and to renew our commitment to improving and strengthening the way of life for all people. In 2018, 2000 hamburgers and 1500 hotdogs were cooked and served; 2000 bananas and 2000 juice boxes were handed out. It is an event the community enjoys and looks forward to. Hundreds of people attended and enjoyed last year’s event.

Volunteers are vital to the success of this event.
