Labour Day BBQ Volunteer
Labour Day is about recognizing the contributions of workers and unions to the well-being of our communities and country. The Labour Council organizes the BBQ to celebrate community spirit and to renew our commitment to improving and strengthening the way of life for all people. Every year, around 2000 hamburgers and 1500 hotdogs are cooked. As well, around 2000 bananas and juice boxes are distributed. Any leftover food is donated to a local community agency.
Volunteers are vital to the success of this event.
